An 8-Week Summer Series

Summer is the season of blossoming — long light, open skies, and the quiet invitation to turn inward and let what's ready in you finally open. Full Bloom is an eight-week yin yoga series designed for students who want to slow down, go deeper, and truly connect with their practice.

Whether you are brand new to yin or returning with an existing practice, this series meets you where you are. We begin by building a real foundation — exploring what yin yoga actually is, why it matters, and how it differs from the more active styles of movement many of us are used to. From there, we move at a pace that allows you to settle into each pose, explore variations that feel right in your body, and actually feel your body's response rather than rushing past it.

Each week, we dive into the science and wisdom beneath the practice — the profound effect yin has on our connective tissue, our nervous system, and our long-term mobility and ease of movement. These are not just feel-good stretches. Yin works at a deeper level, and understanding why makes all the difference in how you practice.

Woven throughout all eight weeks is a chakra-focused thread that deepens as the series unfolds. Week by week, we move through the body's energy centers — from root to crown — building energetic awareness and creating intentional space for healing on every level: physical, emotional, and beyond. Each class holds both the science and the subtle, the body and the spirit.

This is a practice of presence. Of patience. Of coming home to yourself, one breath at a time.

Full Bloom: Week-by-Week Class Outline

Week 1 — Root Chakra | Muladhara | Finding Ground We begin at the foundation. This first class introduces students to the principles of yin yoga — how to enter poses, what to look for, and how to be with sensation rather than push through it.

Week 2 — Sacral Chakra | Svadhisthana | Into the Flow We explore the hips more deeply and begin to awaken creativity and feeling.

Week 3 — Solar Plexus Chakra | Manipura | Stoking the Inner Fire We move into the core, spine, and digestive center.

Week 4 — Heart Chakra | Anahata | Opening to Love We arrive at the heart — backbends, chest openers, and shoulder release.

Week 5 — Throat Chakra | Vishuddha | Speaking Your Truth We work into the neck, throat, shoulders, and upper spine.

Week 6 — Third Eye Chakra | Ajna | Turning Inward We slow down even further. Poses support the release of the face, jaw, and nervous system.

Week 7 — Crown Chakra | Sahasrara | Expanding Into Wholeness We open from the crown — long, spacious holds with extended meditation.

Week 8 — Full Bloom | All Chakras | The Whole Garden A closing class that weaves together all seven energy centers, revisiting key poses from the series with greater ease and awareness.
